1924 Founded in Hamburg by the Pharmacist Adalbert RAPS

1943 Hamburg plant destroyed. Partial production in Kulmbach

1956 Full production in Kulmbach

1972 BIOFROST® chilled grinding operation begins

1975 Death of the founder, and establishment of the Adalbert RAPS Foundation

1979 Transfer to the new plant in Kulmbach

1982 Inauguration of the first Coating Plant for coating of ingredients

1989 Foundation of the Adalbert-Raps-Research Centre at the Technical University Munich /  Weihenstephan

1992 Supercritical Spice Extraction Plant begins production

1993 Certification according to DIN EN ISO 9001

1996 New computer-controlled warehouse

1997 New Liquids Plant

1998 Extension and modernisation of Plant I, automation of despatch systems, new building
for powder form extracts

1999 Introduction of CPF Technology, extension of the Liquid Plant, RAPS' 75th Anniversary

2000 Further development of CPF and Flavocaps technologies. Development of ready-to-use sauces for easy production of ready meals (MENU FIX).

2003 Enlargement to the Coating Plant (plant III). Increase in capacity by 50%. Certification
according to EFSIS
